Een kopie (20ste eeuw) van de stoel wordt in de Sint-Gangulfuskerk van Sint-Truiden bewaard, in bruikleen gegeven door een familie uit Zepperen.
In september-oktober 2020 stond de stoel tijdelijk tentoongesteld in PARCUM in Heverlee (zie link YouTube).
