333 Inventory 332 2.  Works Possibly Belonging to the Elsloo Group in Foreign Collections and an Unknown Location This list includes works attributed to the Master of Elsloo (and workshop, circle, group, etc.) in the literature. With each work basic references are given that have an important bearing on this attribution (such as Horst 1974, Sint-Truiden 1990, Didier 1992, Janssen, Te Poel and Schäfer 2001). Also included are sculptures that may belong to the Elsloo group but which have not been attributed in the literature. In many cases, however, the attribution could not be verified within the framework of the recent research project. The inventory is indicative, not comprehensive. Figure numbers in italics refer to illustrations of that work in the present publication. F rance Lille, Palais des Beaux-Arts Executioner from the Carrying of the Cross (see Heinsberg), inv.
