Frames and supports in 15th and 16th-century Southern Netherlandish painting

Bibliography: Pauwels 1984, 18. Panel: three boards, including one narrower one at the centre. The butt joins are reinforced with original dovetail keys at both front and back. The panel is 1.5 cm thick and the keys inset to a depth of 0.5 cm. The keys on the front are staggered with respect to those of the reverse. Frame: 17th century (?).
