Frames and supports in 15th and 16th-century Southern Netherlandish painting

catalogue 532 The frame has been stripped. Some remains of black paint are visible on the sides of the wings. Recent gilding on the body of moulding bordering the painting. A photographic document attests to the earlier existence of a black-gold-black-gold polychromy. In other words, the stripping is relatively recent.
