Frames and supports in 15th and 16th-century Southern Netherlandish painting

catalogue 506 Frame: mortise and tenon, mitred on the front, square on the reverse, except for the curved top rail, mitred on both faces. Rebated from the back. The outer moulded part is pinned to the frame. Signature and date have been transferred to the frame. The polychromy has been redone. No traces of hinges: the painting does not appear to have had wings.
