Frames and supports in 15th and 16th-century Southern Netherlandish painting

O.OTP0064.I Bibliography: Maertens 1939, 104, no. 76. Panel: a single vertically placed board, 1.2 cm thick. Hanging/holding hole on the reverse. Frame: applied, three pegs to attach each stile and one peg at the centre of the bottom rail. The stiles are cut to the angle of the inclined sills. The cornice is attached by nails hammered in from behind. No traces of hinges. The polychromy has been redone.
