De oorspronkelijke kerk werd gebouwd in de Romaanse tijd.
De westertoren uit de twaalfde eeuw werd waarschijnlijk
opgericht op de onderbouw van een bredere slottoren uit de
elfde eeuw. Het koor stamt uit de zestiende eeuw en het
driebeukig halleschip, resultaat van de verbreding van de
Romaanse éénbeukige kerk, dateert van 1770.
