Jacob Cats begon in 1632 met de aanleg van zijn buitenhuis Zorgvlied te Scheveningen, het latere "Catshuis" dat, sinds 1963, ambtswoning van de Nederlandse minister-president is en het ontvangstcentrum van de regering.
